Sneakers Kiosk for Johannesberg International Airport

Sneakers already have a number of stores at JIA, these include both domestic stores and duty free stores including the Sneakers flagship store. Retail expansion at the airport included the introduction of a number of retail carts to be located within the airport. To determine which retailers would occupy these carts the selection process required that retailers submit tenders.

The Airports Company of South Africa had a cart designed that was to be used by all the retailers that would be occupying them. Unfortunately the only cart specifications supplied were in the form of a photocopy of a single view of the proposed carts. Without any form of actual dimensions the dimensions of the cart had to be estimated during modeling of the cart structure by simply scaling them off the provided photocopy.
