Website for The Lamp Collection

The website was required to showcase the ranges of table lamps, floor lamps, ceiling lights and lamp bases that are manufactured and sold by The Lamp Collection. The website needed to be data base driven to enable frequent additions and updates to the product range. Although not initially intended to be full ecommerce the site required a a shopping cart system that would easily enable customers to add items to the cart and submit their orders. A gift voucher system was also required that would enable customers to purchase gift vouchers for family and friends that could be redeemed when making a purchase.

 

 

The website was built using our CMS which includes all the features neccesary to manage the products and content displayed on the site. The shopping cart system includes functionality to support the input of gift voucher codes and also the ability to provide notes for each item ordered. This is a usefull feature that enables the customer to specify special instructions for each item during the initial ordering process.
