Heritage Theatre Web Site

The site needed to provide a means for providing information about the theatre itself plus the current, forthcoming as well as past shows. Encore Productions and Catering By Heritage (formally Encore Caterers) are also part of the company and provide production and catering services. The site would also need to provide information about these services.

The site structure was designed to provide separate sections for theatre, production company and catering content with all sections being easily updateable via the database driven backend. Facilities for the adding of FAQ's, links, comments and articles were also incorporated into the design enableing these to be added to the site and cross linked to other sections of the site as required.

The theatre section includes information about the Heritage Theatre itself as well as the current, forthcoming and past shows thereby providing the visitor with a good overall idea of the types of productions staged at the theatre. Each show can have information and pictures from the show displayed on the site and reviews of the shows can also be added and linked to the relevant show as well as audience comments.

As the theatre is also used as a function and event venue, information and photos of each event can also be uploaded to the site.

The production company & catering sections also include the ability to also easily update info on the site so that as the range of services grows these can be shown on the site.

The site incorporates many advanced backend features that enable almost all sections of the site to be edited and added to including automated image uploading, cropping and resizing to ensure that the site is always up to date with current content and images.
